Adda only works because everyone is a verified student and keeps their word. These rules keep it that way, and keep the university happy to have us around.

Keep deals on Adda

Phone numbers, emails and social handles are hidden automatically. Sharing them to take a deal elsewhere earns a strike every third attempt. Only deals made on Adda get reviews, and only those can we help with.

Help, don't cheat

Academic help is welcome. Doing graded work for someone is academic misconduct, and it's an instant ban.

Tutoring and explaining concepts
Debugging help on your own code
Reviewing or proofreading your own work
Selling your own notes
Design, photography, repairs, errands

Doing someone's assignment, lab, project, quiz or exam

Posts are checked by filters and moderators. Suspicious ones are hidden until reviewed.

Drugs, vapes and vape liquids, alcohol
Weapons of any kind
Fake IDs, documents, leaked papers
Hacked or sold accounts
Prescription medicines, sexual content, scams

Three strikes

Strike one is a warning. Strike two pauses posting and messaging for 7 days. Strike three is a permanent ban tied to your university email. Strikes expire after 6 months. Drugs, weapons, harassment and scams skip straight to a ban. You can appeal every strike once.

Keep the pledge

When you post, you give your word, on your faith and your honour, to pay Adda 1% of the price (at least Rs 5) if it sells, on Adda or elsewhere. Dues build up and you pay them by Raast, JazzCash or Easypaisa. Posting pauses when dues reach Rs 500.

Privacy, fairly

Other students see your display name and school, never your real name or email. The owner can see your identity only to handle a serious report, and every look is logged. Moderators can read a chat only if it was reported or flagged, and that is logged too.
