Who can use Adda

Adda is for current students (and alumni who linked a backup login) of universities we support. You must sign in with your university email account (through Microsoft or Google) and be 18 or older to post.

Adda is a meeting place, not a shop

Students sell and hire each other directly. Adda doesn't own, inspect or guarantee anything listed, and doesn't hold or transfer money. Payment happens between buyer and seller.

The 1% pledge

Posting is free. When you post, you pledge to pay Adda 1% of the final price (at least Rs 5 on any paid deal) if it sells or the gig is paid, on Adda or anywhere else. Fees build up as dues. Posting pauses when dues reach Rs 500. Submitting a fake payment reference is fee evasion and earns a strike.

What you can't do

• Sell or offer anything on the prohibited list in the community rules, including graded academic work.
• Share contact details to take deals off Adda, spam, scam, harass or impersonate anyone.
• Create more than one account or get around a ban.

Moderation

We may hide listings, issue strikes, restrict or ban accounts that break these terms or the community rules. You can appeal strikes and bans once each. We may report serious misconduct to your university.

Leaving

You can delete your account from Account & safety once your dues are clear. Completed deals and reviews stay, anonymised, so the other person keeps their history.

Liability

Adda is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Adda isn't liable for losses from deals between students. Meet on campus, check items before paying and report problems quickly.

Changes

We'll tell you in the app before these terms change in a way that affects you.
